Ryan is a trial attorney. He loves going to court to help his clients where they need him most. Ryan handles the firm's criminal defense cases including serious felonies, and charges for drugs, firearms, assault, and drunk driving. He also handles much of the firm's civil litigation including personal injury, divorce, and driver's license reinstatement. Ryan is a highly motivated and skilled litigator who aggressively represents his clients to give them the best chance to succeed in court.
Ryan grew up playing competitive sports, and he played football at Adrian College from 1990-1994. His passion for the game is now being instilled in Ludington's youth. Ryan and his wife Kristi have three kids, and he has coached their Pop Warner Football, Ludington Rec Basketball, and Ludington Soccer Club soccer teams. While sports takes up a lot of time, the family has the most fun skiing, backpacking, and enjoying all of the outdoor activities that West Michigan has to offer.
Ryan is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, American Bar Association, Michigan Association for Justice, and the Criminal Defense Association of Michigan. Locally, Ryan is a member of the Ludington Optimist Club, Mason County Habitat for Humanity, and the Mason/Lake Bar Association, and has served as president of all three.
